My Network

Access to the Network section

How to access my network

  1. Access the applicationTruckscanner via your browser
  2. Locate the left sidebar(sidebar) of the main page
  3. Click on the "Network" sectionin the side menu
  4. Select "My network"from the submenu that opens

The page will open by showing a table with all the companies in your network.

The page "My network" presents the following elements:

  • Header of the pageunder the title "My network"
  • Upper instrument barwith the main buttons
  • Field of researchto filter contacts
  • Contact tablewith the main information

Network management

How to add a new company

  1. Click the "New" button(green) at the top right of the page
  2. A form will open to enter the data of the new company
  3. Fill in all required fields:
    • Company name (via automatic search or compiling manually)
    • Name of the contact person
    • Contact email
  4. Belonging toContact groups (see below)
  5. Click "Save"to confirm the insertion
Idea
I am the firstGroupsare very useful for the classification of carriers and forwarders, new and usual. For example, if the company sells both products on classic pallets and products that require a specific type of trailer or certification (e.g. Tilt tanks for bulk minerals, Hazard materials, Perishable Goods, etc.) you can divide the contact database into two separate groups.
What is this classification for? When the company publishes any transport request on the market, it can share the opportunity by clicking on the sharing icons, to all members belonging to one or more Groups:

How to import multiple companies simultaneously

  1. Click the "Import Network" button(grey) next to the "New" button
  2. An import window will open
  3. Select the filecontaining the list of companies to import
  4. Follow the instructionsto complete the import
  5. Check imported datain the main table

Operations on existing contacts

How to edit a company data

  1. Locate the companyyou want to edit in the table
  2. Click on the "Edit" icon(symbol of pencil)
  3. The edit module will open with current data
  4. Change the required fields
  5. Click "Save"to confirm the changes

How to delete a company

  1. Locate the companyyou want to delete in the table
  2. Click on the "Delete" icon(red basket symbol)
  3. Confirm the eliminationin the confirmation message that will appear
  4. The company will be permanently removed from your network

How to select multiple companies for multiple operations

  1. Use the checkboxesin the first column of the table to select companies
  2. Click the box in the headerto select all visible companies
  3. Use the "Actions" buttonthat will appear at the top to perform operations on all selected companies
  4. Choose "Delete Selected"to remove multiple companies simultaneously

How to order contacts

  1. Click on the header of a column(Company, Contact person, Email) to order data
  2. Click againto reverse the order (incending/descending)
  3. The one of thesmall arrownext to the column name indicates the order direction

Information displayed

Columns of the table

The network table shows the following information for each company:

  • Company:Full name of the partner company
  • Contact person:Name of the main contact person
  • Email:Contact email address
  • Actions:Buttons to edit or delete contact

Best practices for network management

  1. Keep contact details up to dateregularly changing the information
  2. Use full business namesto facilitate research
  3. Share load requests with your network

Solving common problems

  • If you don't see the "New" button:Make sure you have the permissions needed to add contacts
  • If the search does not work:Check that you have entered the correct term or enter the VAT game and wait for loading
  • If the import fails:Check the file format and that all required fields are compiled

Access via mobile devices

On smartphones and tablets:

  1. Use the burger menu(three horizontal lines) at the top left to open the sidebar
  2. Browse to "Network"and select "My network"
  3. The table will fitautomatically at the size of the screen
  4. Scroll horizontallyif necessary to view all columns
